School Suwerwa
In accordance with the Basic Education Act of Kenya, the Board of Management is the apex governing organ of St. Francis Girls Senior Suwerwa. The Board is charged with approving strategic plans, maintaining fiscal discipline, safeguarding school assets, and protecting the spiritual and moral ethos established under Catholic Church sponsorship.
Approving master development plans and curriculum transition to CBE Senior School (10–12).
Prudent management of public funds, capitation, development funds, and independent audits.
Commissioning and upgrading dormitories, STEM science laboratories, and ICT facilities.
Formulating policies for safety, girl-child empowerment, child protection, and health.
St. Francis Girls Senior Suwerwa operates within a harmonious partnership between the Catholic Church, the national government, and the parents body.
Provides spiritual oversight, Christian moral foundation, resident chaplaincy direction, and pastoral care anchored in the Catholic faith. The Diocese ensures the school remains a holy sanctuary of virtue, prayer, and sisterhood.
Regulates national educational standards, Senior School CBC curriculum pathways (STEM, Social Sciences, Arts), capitation disbursement, and professional teacher postings through the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
Fosters active partnership between families and the school, supports capital development projects, advocates for student welfare and nutrition, and reinforces school values in homes and community life.
Since foundation in 2013, dedicated Board Chairpersons have steered SFGS through every milestone of development.
Pioneer B.O.M Chairperson
Steered the initial establishment of the school under Catholic Church sponsorship, establishing essential infrastructure, community goodwill, and initial learner enrollment.

Led the transformative transition of SFGS into a full boarding institution, overseeing construction of modern science labs, dining hall, dormitories, and steady KCSE performance.

Spearheading the transition into a premier C3 Senior School under CBC, expanding science & digital learning infrastructure, and championing girl-child holistic education.
The Board of Management sets the vision; the School Administration executes that vision each day in the classrooms, laboratories, hostels, and sports grounds.
