Clubs and societies at St. Francis Girls Senior Suwerwa provide students with spaces to refine their gifts, discover new interests, serve the community and grow in confidence.

Each club is guided by a Patron and runs within a structured programme of meetings, activities and competitions that strengthen both academic excellence and character formation.

Why clubs matter

Beyond the classroom, into confidence and purpose

The main aims of clubs and societies at SFGS include educating, stimulating thinking, doing research, entertaining, developing creativity, rendering services to oneself and society, providing avenues for socialization, helping students grow spiritually and morally, and helping them develop and exploit their gifts and talents.

All students are encouraged to join at least two clubs: one academic and one non-academic. Our school has continuously excelled in club-related activities and competitions both nationally and internationally, taking part in Wildlife, President's Award Scheme, Mathematics, World Scholars, Chess, Red Cross, St. John Ambulance and Science clubs among many others.
